Cheney Knew
Some of you may have seen this already, but this is so frightening it deserves to be highlighted. Dick Cheney, in 1994, describing what would have happened had the US unilaterally gone into Iraq at the end of the first Gulf War. It is a perfect description of what is currently happening. If you only watch one youtube video this year... make it this one.

How come I've never seen that before! I'm gonna forwared that to all my friends... which is like about 6 people minus you and Tim cause you have already seen it...
It was interesting listening to 'All Things Considered' from NPR the other day and hearing Republicans argue that having Cheney as Vice President was a big mistake.
Basically, their thesis was that because Cheney will not seek the Presidency after Bush has served two terms, he doesn't listen to or care about public opinion. That's fine if you are going to retire, but it pretty much leaves other Republicans who are facing the people up shit creek.
Given his status as one of Bush's brains, he will surely go down as one of the worst politicians in history.
